My philosophy for my art is to be an inspiration to others—to leave a legacy and to have a Christ centered esthetic for the work that I do. Art is my primary form of visual communication. Through my photography work and design—it allows me to communicate ideas words cannot encompass. The evolution of my art can be institute in an aspiration to enhance a better understanding of myself as an artist, and I pursue this in all sorts of medium of art. My passion thrives as a child—I’d always had a passion for art and mostly anything that relates to fanciful creativity. Ever since I was a youngling I have loved to create things from scratch—craving desires for new inventions and driven in formation. There is nothing that I rather do than to create. But I had no intension of becoming an artist—while being in college. For I was taught that “art” was an extinct occupation that only existed in history books. No one in my family that I knew were artist—most were either lawyers, doctors, or in the field of high demand. Growing up with strict Asian parents with imprecise tradition, art was considered to be a fun thing to do as a minor hobby rather than a career that would receive a high-income source. But I did not let my parents’ principles stop me from pursuing my passion in art.
Although art has been apart of the majority of my childhood—I never would have pursued it in a business form. I never thought I could get paid for doing something I absolutely love. I have built a style that keeps people coming back. My photography focuses on capturing a human presence with its profound history. My work is conceptual, yet interactive—my photos tell stories of the relationship between the subject of an image and expression that image depicts. With influences as diverse as Richard Avedon and Annie Leibovitz, my photography enters the realm of realism, fashion and fantasy—with a touch of high fashion, couture and editorial style. These aspects of manipulation in my work involve a proficient knowledge of graphic design. This is where I apply my skills in design to combine both graphic and photography to produced excellent quality work for clients. My design visually communicates ideas and translates a clear message. I like to keep it simple and clean— the design process is guided by the clients. I like to involve the client with the development process, from beginning to end; for they are the key to developing a great concept.
As a designer and photographer, I make sure that I deliver a satisfied work with the industry level of professionalism. I take pride in bringing together the grandness of tradition, the artistry of emotion, and the simplicity of realism into every project. Design and photography are some of my passions and I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve so many through my work.
