This week we asked how long you have been taking photos. The results were interesting with the majority of responses indicating that readers have been taking photos for more than ten years. The shortest duration represented in the poll was “less than a year” which covered 15% of responses. Therefore, in conclusion 67% of the Seven by Five readership have been taking photographs for less than ten years.
The results are presented below.
I think we are all on a photographic journey but it is great to see the Seven by Five community covers a wide range of photographic experience.
Lets hope those who have been shooting longer can pass on their expertise and know how to those who are new to the realm of photography.

Since I was a teenager but I took it seriously not too long ago – November 2009!

shoot in RAW if I know I have to work on it later. Like portraits, landscapes etc.
quick snapshots however in jpeg for the sake of speed

Only started figuring things out about 2 years ago.
Still broke.
I also shoot in RAW only…
