I’m a young self-taught photographer and aspiring filmmaker based in Nottingham, UK. Currently studying Digital Video and Broadcast Production at university.
In 2007 I discovered parkour/free running and that is what propelled me into this creative world of photography and filmmaking. I started taking pictures and filming my friends practise eventually leading me to discovering my passion and what I want to do as a career.
Fast-forward to 2013, I still shoot free running when I can but I now also shoot portraits and model portfolios as well as short films and documentaries. I have had images published, even shot for a magazine, model agency and clothing brand.
When it comes to shooting portraits I enjoy working with natural light as I think it suits my more raw style of images, I don’t do massive amounts of retouching because I like to keep the subjects looking natural in the final images. Even though my primary light source is natural that is not to say I am against using flashes or studio lighting, this is an area I plan to expand into to make myself more versatile.
Probably my biggest inspiration for when it comes to shooting is skateboarding, I’ve always loved how the photographers shoot and compose their images, which has had a big influence on how I shoot my own. My favourite skateboarding photographer is Aaron Smith.
As for aspirations, one day I want to go on tour with a musician filming a documentary of their tour, travel to different countries doing photo shoots with various models, clothing brands, agencies etc, expand into different action sports and just continue to enjoy what I am doing.

I gotta hand it to you, man. The parkour picture is really amazing, makes you feel like the guy just flew above your head from one wall to the next.
